India – I see an opportunity in disguise

while i looked around and what i saw around
i had my moment of relief and agony
in the end i was confused whence i listened silently
i could hear the sound and i saw the light finally

If I compare INDIA with its neighbouring countries like pakistan, burma, srilanka, bangladesh, I consider its democracy, its governance as comforting, but when I read the news or the articles the image that develops does not really look encouraging, it requires a deep breadth, a consoling hand or the company of somebody with focussed approach and free spirited nature, which can help in developing a more optimistic picture of the growing india. Not only its growing in size, its growing by leaps and bounds in terms of educated india, self-reliant india, fashionable india, service industry india, space research india, pharma india …but there is more growth in the rich and poor gap, the apathy towards rural develpment, towards the billion begging around, the cultural divide between generations and the plaguing “chalta hei” attitude, the lack of seriousness towards most of the things.

My question: what good I am of to anybody!!!  why should any good happen to me, I earn 20000, 40000  or more – doIi donate every month even 1/100 of this amount, I spend 1/2 on my enjoyment, I need colddrink, bond movies, high speed internet, car drive, air conditioning, restaurant visit, makeup delicacies, branded clothes, etc… etc… but what i am becoming by applying / adopting all this in life. Let us not resign to our beds just because we pay taxes, this is our society and we only can develop it.

What use is the technology which can not help INDIA prevent a suicide by farmer happening every 30 min, and did I say how should i help India, or lets say help the kid of the cook who comes at home, share the medical bills of maid, or atleast tell stories or share some time with kids at local school …if I am short of time, I am not short of money , I have Rs 1000 which can bear the education of kid at local school or his/her stationary bills…, my accomplishments are way to small, with those accomplishments I can only struggle in life, I can not rise up to the occasion , I can not run and definitely cannot help other walk.

To walk or run I have to think bigger, I have to see opportunities in the apathy, misery and poor life around me, if I am getting carried away by them, I am weak, I should stand for the occasion and do some constructive, then only ideas will come and then only muscles will develop.
