Simple Mechanics Part 1

July 6, 2008

Putting up few Day 2 Day Use small workarounds… which make life easy, inline to :a. using pully to fetch water from well, or using fulcrum to raise a heavy load, or like using a large, small gear while riding up the hill on a bicycle.

1. Hinge/Bar in Batchroom to hang tub-curtain: Found it easy, without putting a nail in the wall or using any other simple tool/technique, i was able to fit a rod on the wall and hang a curtain over it, Then why since ages I use to look for a nail and hammer whenever it came to hanging a curtain aside my hostel bookshelf or door !
As this picture shows, there is no nail, no hole in wall, put the rod, just the pressure on both sides which keeps the rod up.
2. Red Signal Light at Curved Road:
No need to push the break hard at the red light and cursing the unknowns — for making sure people in your car understand that the road was curved, the red light ahead was not visible and the RED signal came infront of you as suddenly as for anybody else.
So, in America they have put a long arm at signals much before the curve starts which is in sync with your Red Light Signal ahead.
3. Tooth Pick Case:
While coming out from Restaurant after dinner, It was more convenient to get a tooth pick from this case without putting the hand inside some cup/box, thus avoiding touching the other tooth picks, essentially tooth pick goes straight inside the mouth and being of wood while scratching it with teeth, either is squeezed etc… but comes in direct contact with salaiva.
I will put the picture as i will come across…
